How do you set up Wireless Internet Connection without adapter?

Question

A computer man came and somehow set up a wireless internet connection on my computer before i had to reboot... now all i got is '1394 Connection' but i got a Wireless Router...

Do you have a laptop/ PC with a wireless adapator?

If its built in, turn it on. Bottom right hand corner you should see a an icon representing wirless networks. Click on it and search for wireless networks.

Or if windows is configured to manage your networks, you should have a computer in the bottom right hand corner, with a cross through it right click on it and select "view avaible wireless networks" enter the SSID ( the name of your network) and your WEP or WPA2 key ( password) and you shoud be home and dry!
