How do you set up a new controller to be your main controller as the main controller as broke for the wii

When you take the battery cover off the remote, you'll see a red button. Open the memory card door on you wii, and you will see another red button. To get rid of all the remotes registered, hold the button down on the wii for more than 15 seconds.

Next, press the red button on the new controller and you will see it flashing, while flashing, press the red synchronising button on the wii.

You should have it connected now!

Try turning on the Wii at the console, without turning on any controllers. Then take the controller you want to use as the main one, and turn it on. If it does not automatically become player 1, open the battery cover, and the small cover on the front of the console, and press the red buttons at the same time.

This will sync the controllers, and as long as every time you use your Wii, you turn on the correct controller first, you should get it to work fine.

There is no such thing as a "main controller". Whatever one you turn on first becomes player 1.
