How do you set up a system to receive money from customers online?

if you have a service ,business etc. and you want people to be able to pay you through their computer how does one go about this also to accept debit credit cards as well as cash any ideas?

If you are serious about opening an online business, paypal is not going to cut it. Business that accept paypal only receive 60% less sales annually.

What you need is a internet merchant account. There are many company's that provide this service. I highly recommend http://wwww.usamerchantaccounts.net as they have the best customer service and rates around. It also only takes 24 hours to setup your account. Also you get a free virtual terminal so you can also manually enter credit card information to process orders you get over the phone, through the mail or in person.
