How do you share movies / videos thru-out all TVs in home-a Master DVR that can push movies to all TVs?

I am designing a "Movie/Audio network" in home..I already have a "home-run" network distributing ethernet thru-out home with satellite (directTV). Instead of a DVR for each TV/Room, I want to have a Master Disk Storage device that would allow me to store all my movies and then if I wanted to watch a movie from that system in my great room all I have to do is pull the movie (or push) it out to that TV?...any ideas? seems simple in concept but with multiple domains/targets (i.e. TVs) it gets complex fast....
