How do you sharpen a throwing star??

i found some at a garage sale for really cheap

and they are really dull and used up....

what would be the best way to sharpen them without loosing to much of the looks..

Just try using a knife sharpiner or get a soap stone.

well, if you know how to use a whetstone properly, it shouldn't be too hard

you could use a grinding wheel or a file/stone or find a custem knife maker and have them do it.

Well first, you need to go to SouthParkZone.com and watch the episode "Weapons" again,  to get a refresher on how NOT to use your new lovely toy.

Then go to hardware store at lumber yard, and ask where they send blades out to to have them professionally sharpened (its the only way to do it, without ruining them, you COULD try to get a file and do by self, but you will almost definitely make a mess of them learning by mistakes.
