How do you show documentation for operating a boat 365 days to get captians license?

I have owned and operated my personal boat for 3 years fishing 3-5 days a week 8-10 hours a day, how do I show documwntation for that?

When you get the paperwork from the USCG, there are instructions. Basically, you will be certifying yourself. You must list each date you were on the water on a form. This is a bit tedious but will be accepted. Photo copies of your boat registration for the past three years should be attached. The hard part is passing the written exam.
