  1. both jaycee and jjj have the correct answer...jjj has distributed the 3 which may or may not be necessary depending upon how your professor wants the solution....i personally would leave it factored...but that's just me

  2. 12t^2+12t+3

    -------------------

       4t^2-1

    3(4t^2+4t+1)

    -------------------

        4t^2-1

    3(2t+1)(2t+1)

    --------------------

      (2t-1)(2t+1)

    3(2t+1)

    -----------

    (2t-1)

    6t+3

    -------

    2t-1

  3. 12t^2 + 12t + 3

    ----------------------

    4t^2 - 1

    = 3(4t^2 + 4t + 1)

    -------------------------

          4t^2 - 1

    = 3(2t + 1 )(2t + 1)

    ---------------------------

    (2t + 1)(2t -1)

    = 3(2t+1)

    -------------

        (2t-1)

  4. 12t^2+12t+3

    -------------------

    4t^2-1

    3(4t^2+4t+1)

    ------------------

    4t^2-1

    (2t+1)(2t+1)

    ===========

    (2t-1)(2t+1)

    2t+1/2t-1
