  1. just turn around.... go slow at first. do a wedge.

trick skis suck! dont ever use them... they are retarded ... its like cheating or some c**p... they just suck

  2. I'm a decent skier and I can only go backwards on green slopes or flat transitions and stuff. To switch to backwards, slide like you are going to hockey stop, but then keep turning around. That's the easy part. To pick up speed, bend over and stick your rear end forward while remaining balanced. You can also use poles to do that, but its a bit harder. To slow down, do the pizza slice style stop, keeping to pointed end behind you. To turn back around, do a hockey stop move again, but pick up your other leg as you bring it all the way around, otherwise you will catch it and fall. Continue shredding normally.

  3. I do know how to ski backwards, and I'd love to show you... but sadly were not on a slope, so any answer here won't help you when you hit the hill (or do you cross country ski?)

  4. learn on trick skis first then go to big skis trick skis are fun:)

  5. same way u ski normally only stop by making a V

  6. With a great deal of caution, and balance.  To learn how, start with an uphill christy, until your skiis slide backwards then go to a herring bone position and flatten your edges enough that you are now in a reverse wedge. You can then make a turn in either direction as you would with any wedge turn.  Other exercises, include a falling leaf and pivot slips.  When you are skilled at these, your balance and edge control will enable you to ski backwards with confidence and skill.

  7. Well you have two have twin tips skies to do it.  To turn put ur wait and turn ur ankles to the side u want to go. To stop just do a backwards snowplow.   To go from forward to backwards do a side ways stop, but just spin anouther 90 degrees.

  8. put the skis on backwards lol

  9. skills. it takes much practice (:

  10. You don't need twintips to ski backwards, although they do help. One tip: have one ski forward of the other - that twists your hip and makes it much easier to turn your head around to see where you're going.
