  1. I got A

  2. 1) 3w - 13 = 1/4 (52 - 12w)   -divide both sides by 1/4-

    2) 12w - 52 = 52 - 12w  -add 12w to each side-

    3) 24w - 52 = 52  -add 52 to each side-

    4) 24w = 104 -divide both sides by 24-

    5) w = 4.333333(repeating)

    The answer would be a) 4 1/3

  3. 3w-13= 13 - 3w

    So, 6w = 26

    w = 26/6 = 13/3 = 4 1/3

  4. well if you mean

    3w - 13= .25(52-12w)

    then it simplifies to

      3w - 13    =  13-3w

    +3w                  +3w

      6w - 13    =  13

           +13    = +13

    And its pretty simple from here.

  5. First, distribute what's in the parentheses.

    3w-13=13-3w

    At first glance, it looks like an identity problem. But it is possible to isolate the variable.

    6w=26

    Divide by the coefficient.

    w=26/6=13/3=4 1/3

    The answer is A).
