Question:

How do you sparkle a wedding veil with beads and sequins? Do you sew or glue them?

I'll be wearing it the whole night and want it to be a bit more sparkly in the same colors and design as my gown.

Wouldn't sewing show the thread? Is gluing advised? Would it work on chiffon veils and regular veils?

I'm good with the art work and detailing... just don't know the materials well enough.

Thanks!!!!

  1. Yes, glue them on the veil. There are many glues that dry clear. Congrats and enjoy your day!

  2. Most beading and sequins are glued on veils. Try using Aleen's fabric glue. It drys clear. Use a toothpick to put the glue on the bead or sequin. Use tweezers to help apply onto the veil. Cutterbee black and yellow tweezers are great for this kind of work.

you can find it at michael's or jo-anns fabric store.
