  1. K r i s K i n d l e M a r t

  2. In northern Germany they are called Christmas-Markets (Weihnachtsmarkt)

Maybe in southern Germany the call the christmas markets "Christkindsmarkt"

  3. It's spelled Christkindlmarkt. And this is only the one in Nuremberg (Nürnberg).

All the other markets around Christmas time are simply called Weihnachtsmarkt.

    I'm native German

  4. The most traditional spelling is:

    Christkindlesmarkt

and the most famous one is the Nurnberger Christkindlesmarkt:

Most Christmas Fairs in Southern Germany are called Christkindlmarkt

    e.g. http://www.christkindlmarkt-regensburg.d...

In other parts of Germany the Christmas Fair is simply called:

    Weihnachtsmarkt

on this website you will find a list of all German Christmas Fairs:

  5. Kristkindlmarkt

  6. Where I come from, it is spelled: Christkindlesmarkt. But that's a bit of a regional old-fashioned spelling. Christkindlmarkt is, I guess, the official spelling.

  7. Its Christkindle Markt ( bavarian version for Wheinachtsmarkt ) which is basically our christmas market ,where you can buy heartshaped gingerbread, decoration for your christmas tree and kids can spent some time with Santa.
