  1. the name is عدنان transliterated to Hebrew : עדנן the meaning is "pleasant". it is derived from the Arabic عدن which is the same like the Hebrew עדן.

    note that the consonant ع  (Hebrew ×¢) does not exist in European languages, it is a kind of soundless from deep throat, IPA: ʕ. hence, phonetically  is ʕadnan.
