  1. A very interesting question. but it wouldn't be possible without changing the dimensions of the 2 equal sides.


  2. You can only do it if the original triangle is an isosceles right-angled triangle. Drawing the median from the right angle to the hypotenuse will create 2 new isosceles right-angled triangles.

  3. ABC is an isosceles triangle and AB = AC. If BC = 2AD( D is the mid point of BC) then ADB & ADC are isosceles triangles formed by splitting ABC.

    You cannot split all isosceles triangle into two isosceles triangles.
