How do you squash your bin bags without breaking them?

someone told me to save room in my bin i have to squash the bags 1st before i put them in my bin but i dont know a good way of doing it without the bag poping

  1. fluff them open and then hold them from the bottom run it Thur your hand and pull out the air ( don't hold it full of air like a balloon) and don't squeeze it till it pops put it in the trash can fold it over the side and walla hole less trash bags OMG i cannot believe i just explained that~!


  2. much easier to squash the stuff that goes IN the bags first, before it's put in there.... then it is just a matter of giving the bag a good shake to settle everything before  you tie it up and toss it in the bin.... step on cans, open and flatten and fold cardboard boxes, that kind of thing.....

  3. I squeeze mine from the bottom upwards getting out as much air as possible. I then take hold of each side of the bag and tie once - then I push down the top of the bag to expel any more air that might be inside it. I finish off with a final tie to seal.

    You can compress the bag even more if you pin prick it to release any extra air still inside it. Good luck. h
