How do you start a Saturn 2000 SL with the emergency key? The alarm keeps going off, need to turn alarm off!?

key is for door ..

Lock, then unlock the driver's door with the key (try it first with the door open to be sure the key works the door), that should dis-arm the alarm. If that doesn't work, look for a valet switch near the driver's left knee, somewhere. Turn ignition key to "Run", press valet switch, then continue turning key to "start".
