I want to know what steps I'll have to make to start a charity business that will help disadvantaged child get a chance to play Cricket. The goal would be to raise money for the benefit of the children. The money would be used to buy the required equipment, transport them to games, give away free tickets to matches, building new cricket pitches, offer teenagers scholarships for sports science courses, and give them much needed experience through a volunteering programme. I want to offer all young cricketers the opportunity to become blackcaps based on their dreams and talent; without having to struggle to cling to their dreams due to financial restrictions. What are the laws surrounding charitable orgnazations? Is it possible to earn a living and support my family as a fund-rasier? If you'e started something similar could you give me some advice?

  1. I don't think you understand the idea of "fund raiser"... it means you raise funds for a charity you don't make money from charities... when you make money from a "charity" thats when it becomes a business...
