  1. I would address it His Royal Majesty, King George II of England, Countrymen and Friends:

Highnesses represents Prince and Princesses and Majesty represents Kings and Queens.

Good luck with your project. ;-)

  2. Is this like an open letter, to be read by everyone at the same time, as in a pamphlet or something?

Maybe you could start ~ Your Majesty, my fellow countrymen ...

Here's some beginnings of letters to Kings:

Columbas to the King and Queen of Spain:

    "Most High and Mighty Sovereigns,

In obedience to your Highnesses' commands, and with submission to superior judgment ..."

Human Rights Watch to the King of Morocco:

    "Your Majesty,

We address this open letter to you respectfully in your capacity as Protector of the rights and liberties of citizens, social groups and organizations ..."

Personally, I think Your Majesty is good.

    Cheers :-)

  3. Try this... to my dearest home dawg, hope things are well in yo' cribb ma bredren! etc etc...

  4. When addressing a King or Queen of England, your first verbal reference is: Your Majesty. Not Your Royal Majesty. Not Your Royal Highness.

In writing you would address your letter:

    His Majesty, The King

    Buckingham Palace

    London, England

You wouldn't use his name because it is implied when you write The King. There is but one king (or queen) at a time.

    Then the letter would begin:

If it please Your Majesty, (Instead of Dear King George)

and the body of the letter ...

I forgot to mention that if you live in a Commonwealth country you don't need postage on your envelope because you are writing to the head of state.

  5. To His Royal Heiness I am writing to you because I know the kings bell boy stole a expensive vase from your room.

  6. did you die several years ago?  Many, many years ago?  King Geo.?  Is this a political statement?

Your Royal Highness, His Countrymen, et. al.(common folk wouldn't have the chance to hear such a speach.)

  7. HRH is appropriate—His Royal Highness

  8. Your Royal Majesty?

  9. Who the f**k is King George??
