How do you start a lilac bush?

I want a lilac bush in my yard. how do i get one? do i plant a bulb or buy a bush? are they expensive? about how much does it run?

The lilac is a bush. You may have to wait until spring before you can buy one thought.

But if you know anyone who has one maybe you can talk them into giving you a shoot from the base of their plant. That should be done in the fall or spring.

You can also take cuttings and root them in soil.

You can probably get one for under 10 dollars, at the garden centers.
