  1. press "control+alt+delete" on ur computer, select the "start taskmaneger" if using vista, xp the task manger will just appear.  click "file" on the window that just popped up, and select "New Task(Run...)" and type in "wbsrv.exe" without the quotations. it should start that process. then click "file" then New Task(Run...)" again and type in "vistasrv.exe" without the quotations. it should start those tasks again. if that doesnt work just restart ur computer. it should restore them. there is no need to reformat or restore anything, u didnt delete anything, u just stopped an application from running.

  2. Both of these services are from a program called WindowsBlind. You can download it at www.stardock.com. After you install it, they should both be restored on your computer.

  3. To start a process in Task Manager, just go to File > New Task. Then type the command in the field and press OK. This has the same functionality as the Start menu's Run button.

As for file recovery, you would have to try installing file recovery programs, and many you have to pay for. Hopefully other users have suggestions on that.

It looks like those files are for WindowBlinds, an application that can change the look of Windows. Try reinstalling that program.

  4. They are gone.  The ONLY way to get them back would be to somehow ILLEGALLY download copies of them, or to reinstall Vista.  Hope you have the Vista install disk.

  5. files are not important if you are not runnig window blinds (themes).

if you are its gonna create some problem. (they are not VIsta system files , its third party)

if you want it go here

    http://ipb.quicksilverscreen.com/index.p...

these are the files installled by window blinds

    Wblind.dll

    Wbsrv.dll

    Wbconfig.exe

    Wbload.exe

    Wbhelp.dll

    Wbui.dll

    Tray.dll

  6. Boot to your vista dvd and run the startup repair options... not sure if it'll work but its worth a shot.

Otherwise you'd have to perform a repair install, which i have yet to do in vista but I think is possible, you'll have to look into how to do it.

Make sure to avoid options like "system recovery" as that generally means you will be losing data.  Just do startup repair.

Btw I was assuming you were having trouble booting, if not, then don't worry about the files... if you find a program not working that did before... just reinstall it.
