  1. Three most important things-

    1. Toss- must be consistent. This is everything!

    2. Contact- must make consistent. This controls hit

    3. Swing- you seem to have this already

Practice your toss against a wall until it is very natural. Contact is also very important. It's hard to teach yourself this, but you can downball against a wall to practice it.

    Good luck

P.S. Jump floater is a very good serve for girls. Jump topspin is only for like 3% of girls who hit really hard.

  2. Step 1:

See where your opponents are lining up and aim for the open court.

    Step 2:

Know your opponents' weaknesses and serve accordingly.

    Step 3:

Stand 4 to 6 feet behind the back line.

    Step 4:

Toss the ball with your most comfortable hand and put it in a spot that allows you to spike the ball from that distance.

    Step 5:

Jump up and perform your usual spike movements

    Step 6:

Use your whole body - arms, wrists, abs and hips - to hit the ball.

Make sure you throw the ball up with only your hitting hand and just do your spiking approach! start closer to the net though and gradually move back.

    Good Luck! ;)

I know it is not that easy. You need practice to make your moves more and more consistent.

    The key is to

1> have a consistent toss high enough with back spin or top spin (either spin works better than "no spin").

2> do your regular approach as if you were going for a 30-ft spiking.

3> hit the ball and follow through.

  4. That's the only way I know,My dear,Through practice.  Practice your tossing,Practice your leaping,Practice your contact hitting.  I see you are going to be a freshman next year so you have all the time you need to practice.  I'm no professional Volleyball player or even a coach,But I know that through practice,You can do just about anything you want to in life.  All of our great professional sports heroes had to practice what they do.  JellyBeanGurl,In time,You will be great.  Even greater than great,Better than great.  We might even see your pretty face on a box of Wheaties some day.  Maybe I haven't really helped you that much and I apologize for that.  I just want you to know that whatever you want to do in life,You can accomplish through practice.  One does not just jump into doing something without learning and practice.  It takes time and determination on that person's part.  Also don't forget to tell yourself that you can do it.  Confidence makes the difference.  Have a goodnight and God bless.  Buh-bye.
