How do you start programming with html??

I have basic knowledge, but I would like to become an expert.What books should i refer and what websites should i visit??

First download some simple HTML editors . then you can go to www.w3school.com and read them and follow. try to learn about the basic tags and start designg simple very simple pages of you own..
