  1. You have to go to a piercing place and get your holes stretched. Doing it yourself is a bad idea because if you stretch them too fast, the skin can start to rot (think gangrene) and then you're in trouble. You can go into the piercing place and take a look at the plugs they have, and then decide how big you want them. Obviously the bigger you want them, the longer it will take to stretch. Just don't try to do it yourself.

  2. Got to your piercer and have them do it. At least that way they holes will be round instead of doing it yourself. Standard ear hole size is 18-20 guage. They use a taper which is a cone shaped tool that goes from ur current size and go threw your pierced ear hole and gradually stretches it. Sometimes they will just use the jewelry,.S far all my stretches have been down without taper. Just make sure when you get it done to give it atleast 1 month and a half of heal time weather you feel sore or redness. But talk to your piercer and they will give you the info needed. Cause when you get to a larger size more time might be needed depeneding on the person.

    Hope this helped

  3. what i do at the shop i work at is, a person comes in and i will use a 6g and put in 6g jewelry then when healed they come back i will put in 4g if ready, then it up to the costumer..  by then they see how long they need to wait.... also the customer is usin a taper to help make the holes stretch
