How do you start the adoption process?

Me and my boyfriend plan on getting married in October. He wants to adopt my son from my previous marriage. My sons biological father said "yes" he would sign the papers and give his rights up as a parent. My question is... How do we start the adoption process?

  2. LOL your boyfriends comment was funny...but contact a lawyer and ask for a free consultation....but from what I have heard typically it can go through family court and it will be fairly cheap since the Biological father will sign away his rights!! And it is a simple prcedure!! Good luck!!  

    PS wait til you are married b4 he does it alot less complicated!!
