  1. Go to connections academy or k12.com/.Free tution, accredited, they offer diploma's. If you are in high school your parents don't have to do anything with you. You do it on your own. It;s like a public school. They have clubs too.

    Hope this helps

  2. Firstly, you need to discuss it with your parents. There is nothing you can do to start homeschooling, distance-ed etc until you have their permission and support as they have to be the ones who de-register you from your current school.

You could however also spend the time in researching the various options available to you, any local laws, local resources etc. If you're in the US, go to http://www.hslda.org and click on your homestate; if you're outwith the US, check with your country's own homeschooling organisations (HEA, HENZ, EO etc).

Incidentally, you are most unlikely to be accepted onto an Independent Study Programme unless you have a pre-existing physical, mental, emotional or behavioural problem that prevents you from attending school.

If you're reasonably fit and healthy, your chances of getting into a publicly funded independent study programme are most likely to be...absolutely zero. If you're unable to home-educate though and the prospect of your parents paying for you to do a private independent study programme aren't good, you *may* still be able to go through a publicly funded 'School of Distance Education' in your state, eg K12.

(you'd still be able to study independently away from school but would, for all other intents and purposes, be a public school student; hence, there'd be no school fees for you and your parents to worry about.)
