How do you stay awake driving when you have no option but to drive?

No matter how much sleep I have gotten, Every morning I have to drive to work and every morning I will fall asleep

  1. If you feel that tired on the wheel, just pull over into the nearst gas station or mcdonalds or somthing. better being late for work then being dead. before you get on the road, drink coffee or red bull or somthing that will give you energy.


  2. You have an option. Do not drive if you are too sleepy to do so. Putting your own life at risk is stupid, but putting the lives of others at risk is unconscionable.

  3. blast the stereo and open your windows, i got 2 subwoofers in my car for the same reason early classes in college 10 miles each way heavy traffic and all city

  4. Try drinking more water - 2litres a day. Dehydration can cause tiredness and drinking coffee will only make the problem worse because caffeine is a diuretic.

    also, leave 10 mins early, then if you need to you can pull over for a 10 min nap - set the timer on your watch or phone and you will be surprised how refreshed you feel!

  5. On the road? Yikes!

    See a doctor.

    Bring something to munch on so it gives you something to do. Like a breakfast snack mix or dry cereal.

    Bring something to drink so it gives you something to do: coffee, redbull, a bottle of coke, etc.

    Find a funny morning talk show and listen for chances to call in to keep yourself awake.

    Call a friend who also has to commute to work and make it a morning routine to chat on the way.

  6. That sounds like a problem you need to see a Dr. for, my Son's friend has the same thing and the Dr. gave him some pill to help with that!  Good luck and do something BEFORE you get hurt or hurt someone else!

    Try not to relieve your bladder. It is almost impossible to sleep when you have to go.

    Don’t eat breakfast – same principle, food makes you sleepy.

  8. I always take my vitamins before I sleep at night, so that when I wakeup I feel good and always ready to go for work, fun whatever...

  9. usually what i do is drink coffee with extra sugar or sometimes i do some excercises like squat-thrusts or just running in place it helps me to get my blood goin in the morning try it ,it might work for you

    *Maybe you need to wake up 1 hour early before leaving your house. So you are wide awake
