  1. Podcast to yourself. You can use YAKiToMe! http://www.yakitome.com to turn any electronic text (pdf, MS Word, email, RSS feeds, an entire book, Powerpoint presentation, whatever) into an audio book that you can download to your iPod or listen to on your computer. Uses free high-quality text to speech to read in multiple languages with regional accents and male and female voices.

  2. Read a book or magazine.

Listen to music (bring your ipod or similar device).

Play video games on your computer.

    Play sudoku.

  3. Try to sleep and if you can upgrade to first class!

  4. Bring a book or a magazine.

    Listen to music.

    Chat with someone.

    Eat.

  5. I always bring my laptop and an inverter in case i'm lucky and happen to be sitting in a row that has a power port so I can run my laptop the whole flight.  If no power port, then I try to conserve my battery power throughout the flight.  I also bring my mp3 player and a paperback book.  I try to keep to myself.  I don't get chatty with my seat mates unless or course i'm traveling with someone.
