How do you stop birds from nesting on deck beams. Tried owls and snakes and they don't work. HELP!!!!?

I have a patio underneath and it is making a huge messs.

nail nails in a piece of wood to make a spike strip and put that up

try tying long shiny ribbons like all over this may scare them away plus it doesn't really look that bad

Get a mesh chicken wire type fence and staple it so the birds wont be able to nest.
