How do you stop black mould in soap dispenser chute of washing machine??

Question

I use non bio powder and clean the draw weekly but have a problem with the top of the draw unit and the chute. Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

The machine is used daily.

Every month or so i put my washing machine on a boil wash with bleach in the drawer unit. Nothing in the drum obviously! This helps to keep it smelling clean too x

After you have cleaned the draw unit and chute throughly, dry it out and leave it open to let the air get in, also do this after you have finished washing each day, dry it out with a kitchen roll then leave it open a little. This will solve your problem.

First wash the dispenser. It should be possible to pull it out fully. Check the machine's instructions - don't force it out. Then, when it's cleaned. leave it open after every wash.
