How can you stop interference of the digital television signal? At the moment the TV picture breaks up, for example, when a motorbike or scooter goes past.

I have a digital freeview TV and do not want to instal either cable or satelite TV (mainly because I'm tight).

  1. Use a booster. £8.99 is the cheapest one in Argos.

  2. Spend some money you tight ***.

  3. Neither a booster nor a choke will help if attenuation happens when a vehicle passes. I can virtually guarantee that your aerial is not on your roof. Get it up as high as you can. UHF works on line of sight and best when the aerial can see the top of the transmitter. Set top aerials lose umpteen dBi and if you've got a set top chuck it and get a Yagi-Uda type or a log periodic if you live near a major mast.

  4. turn iy off and get out  in the fresh air!

  5. go to your local TV dealer and get an interference filter, they are only 3 to 4 pounds. female end on one end and male on the other. unplug the aerial from back of TV ,plug filter in to TV and pug aerial into the filter, job done
