  1. This might work. When she or he does that give a soft but forsfull knee to the chest of the dog. keep doing that till she or his stops tell guests to do that do

  2. No one trained your dog not to do this, so he does it.  There is a reason your dog does this, it's because dogs like to get close to your face (and also sniff at other, more embarrassing body parts).  Your dog seems to really like people so he greets them this way.

Kneeing a dog in the chest may not work.  My parents kneed their dog for 12 years and it still jumped up.  Shouting and hitting don't work.  The easiest thing to do is to squat down to greet your dog and have other people do the same.

There are ways that involve a boat horn hidden behind your back (works great when done right), dropping a chain or something noisy right behind the dog's rump, and waiting quietly until the dog settles down and sits all by himself.  They all involve the same basic principle of not giving the dog any attention until he sits by himself and then you pet, praise and treat him.  Everyone else in your household must do this, too.

It is more involved when you want your dog to transfer (generalize) this teaching to strangers.  You'll need to recruit the help of many people who will have to be told exactly what to do and not do.  If you can't get a lot of friends to help, ask a dog trainer or behaviorist for help.  A trainer or behaviorist could round up some of their other clients to help you teach your dog in exchange for your help in the future.

  3. Have people visiting your house totally ignore your dog until it settles down. Don't look at it, don't talk to it, don't touch it. Also, you need to the same! Don't let it jump on you either!

  4. Just tell people to ignore him and turn away when he starts jumping. At the same time you should tell him that is inappropriate behavior (No), and instead ask him for a "sit". When he does the sit, praise him, and have the guest praise and pet him briefly. If he starts jumping again, then repeat turn away and ignore. This will teach your dog that jumping gets him ignored, and sitting nicely gets him attention.

  5. If he jumps paws up on people, reprimanding him vocally will just give him the attention hes looking for. When he jumps cross your arm in front or your chest and turn your back to him, dont say anything or touch the dog. Soon enough h**l get the hint that he only gets greeted when all four paws are secure on the floor.

  6. If you want your dog to stop jumping up on people the way to stop this is to give him a knee is the chest area when he does it. Now obviously don't do it very hard but firmly. This will stop him very quickly indeed. Its mildly unpleasant for him and dogs learn quickly  to avoid unpleasant reactions. Barking is another matter. It can drive others mad and if he barks too much buy an anti-bark collar and fit it to him. This will train him not to bark unnecessarily and will make life a lot better for everyone.

  7. He's just being friendly all dogs do that u shuldnt tell him off or stop him from doing that but instead just encourage him to calm down and distract him from the visitor by using a treat (train him with it- tell him to sit then gve him the treat etc) or a toy

if there are anymore problems talk to a vet or me :)

    hope i helped
