  2. Different ways possible depending on your level of ability, incident  in a normal pool or in open water(lakes, seas, rivers).

    Generally , to be totally safe, you really have to know some basic skills of breathing, breath-holding and accurate limbs' movements which if wrongly done, will only quicken the drowning process in a minute or two. Once you take in much water you may panic, become breathless and you WILL not concentrate properly on your movements or direction to aim for safety.

    So learn to hold your breath as long as possible, be calm as far as possible, and do steady and correct movements. Always breathe in and out through the MOUTH and never the nose.   But learning to swim very well prevents such a situation. Learning 2 or 3 styles and aiming to become an Advanced swimmer will ensure safety.

    Wish you have the will and passion, weekly at least,  to master swimming!

  3. if your at a pool or a beach , first try to catch the life guards attention if there is one , yell , scream flail your arms and splash the water. if u want to learn how to swim up to keep from drowning this is how, kick your feet and push up , move your arms like your acting like a bird and flap them : moving u upward towards the surface. and if you can swim and just tired of swimming but your out deep and cant get to land , take a deep breathe and go under water , then let it out under there, do this until your finally ready and relaxed to start swimming again. <---thnx 4 reading , hope this helped you.
