  1. Click tools above and enter inet options. Use the clear history tab. For the toolbar click the green button and then clear recent searches. In toolbar options disable recent searches to turn it off.


  2. If you mean when developing a web page then css is your answer. you can add something like this to your opening BODY tag

    style="overflow:hidden;"

    I don't think there is much you can do for text boxes on pages you are veiwing in your browser other than  try disabling Java script (other features on the page that are Java will be disabled as well so i don;t recommend it really) or by viewing the page in Full screen view.

  3. In Word:  go to TOOLS>OPTIONS>VIEW clear check mark from the toolbar(s) you want to eliminate.
