How do you stop nail vanish from chipping early?

what i do is put on two coats of the color i want them to be, then after the polish is dry i put on a clear coat to protect them from chipping.hope that helps:)

Let all the layers set and put on a top coat.

Apply more than one coat of the nail varnish, and then apply 1-2 coats of clear nail polish over it, to seal it in. You can also buy chip-resistant nail varnish :) xx
