How do you stop recent searches from coming up on the yahoo search thing?

when I type, I have my recent searches show up and I dont want them to. How to I disable that?

Go to your control panel click on Internet Options then scroll to history and put a number in the box then click Clear History then OK. It is best to restart the comp so it will be effective.

Delete your browsing history. Go to Tools on your internet page,  delete browsing history, and then delete all.

Hit the green square and click clear recent searches. Hit save searches to uncheck it.

You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.
