How do you stop the fight as ast as possible when you are one of the people fighting?

use a weapon and catch the guy off gaurd if no weapon is available elbows knees eye pokes groin strikes and if you can get a firm choke on squeese really hard

Bruce Lee's main targets were always the eyes, throat, and groin... once the fight starts try to get your arms around the guy and knee him in the groin... or better yet... RUN AWAY...

Don't start it in the first place.  Or you could just give up and walk away once you realize the futility of the fight.

It sounds like a fight you shouldn't be fighting. If fighting as a sport... OK...... but fighting to solve a problem...never works. To stop that kind of fight walk away and approach it under calmer circumstance. To stop an mma fight, Rear naked Choke, not many people can handle more than 2 seconds of it. This is of course only my opinion

Don't start it or better yet walk away if he tries. Best way to end a fight quickly.

I agree take him down, and when he scrambles take his back, sink in the rear naked choke. Or if he tries to tackle you sprawl and convert into guillotine or anaconda choke. If worst comes to worst pull guard and go for an arm bar. That's what I do at least, it works for me ^^. But my favorite opinion here is the don't get into the fight in the first place. You should only fight if they start it first, but if you know they are going to swing, get the first shot in. Don't let them get in a good blow. Just straight up football tackle them if you have to. Be careful though.
