How do you stop the web search window from predicting you're search?

I have a mac, I know nothing about computers but sometimes I want to search for private and personal reasons... (ok and sometimes nudie pics too). That doesnt mean the person I lend my computer to should see what I searched for last!

if you're using Safari,

try these methods:

history > clear history

edit > empty cache

or better yet

edit > reset Safari

make a different login for your friend.

it will protect you files as well as your web history.

system preferences -> Accounts.
