Question:

How do you stretch for a better scorpion?

I am a flyer in cheerleading and I was just wondering how i could make my scorpion better.

  1. you can either practice with a partner and have them hold your leg up for you.... or we use a rope... almost like a leash, and you put it on your foot and pull the scorpion from there... so you are also working on your own balance while you stretch instead of depending on someone else to help you out.


  2. -Yeah splits would help because you need to really stretch the back and legs so do some back bends and bridges

    -Also get a partner and just pull a scorpion on the ground and let your partner hold up your scorpion (we hold up the front up thigh and near the abs and hold it up and push it higher to make it better) This should make an improvement!
