How do you study SAT vocabulary???

Question

i have a book on SAT reading but i dont know how to use it.

there are words that i'm so confused about.

How do i study vocabulary besides memorizing the dictionary?

i didnt take latin yet since i'm only going to 9th grade but i'm taking it.

please dont tell me that i shouldnt be studying for the SAT yet because its NOT up to me.

its my punishment okay???

The best (and probably the only real way) to develop your vocabulary is to read.  How many books have you read in the last month?  Look up some authors or topics that interest you on the internet and go to your local library.  Reading is the fundamental tool for expanding one's vocabulary.
