How do you submit your artwork for a shirt designing contest?

I can't draw. What are my other options and how do you do them?

Photoshop has a lot of tools that you can use to make designs. My friend uses photoshop a lot to design shirts. She makes her own brushes shapped in certain ways and repeat the patterns or make shadows of people from pictures and ect. But you would have to learn how to use it first and it is a little bit overwhelming at first. And if you manage to design something for a shirt you should print it out on a template which is an outline of a T shirt. But the ability to draw is very subjective. Some people are good with pencils, some are good with paint and etc. I have this friend and she doesn't like using pencils or anything to draw realistic style but has a way with pattern and colors. She can put together shapes to make it so abstract and unique.So maybe you should reconsider how bad your ability to draw is. And if you want to design shirts, bold patterns with eye catching color and fonts are better suited than the conventional drawing skill.
