  1. WIthout buying software, or obtaining it illegally, there isn't a way to do this with Vista.

    If you want to try a trial program then go to Corel.com and download a trial of Paint Shop Pro.

    When using PSP, take the background eraser and erase all of the background. What you have left is a picture of yourself and no background. Then you can either cut and paste the image of you in the new picture or you can use the clone tool to paint yourself in.


  2. Search for GIMP. Yes it's free.

    You select around the object and delete what's behind it.
