  1. U try to talk to her and do ur best for her to like u. If that doesn't work then good luck to u cause having a teacher hate u sucks!!! Oh and try to not get into trouble with her and i think u'll be fine.

  2. The school year just started. How do you know she is so horrible already?

Try not to antagonize her. She really can ruin your life.

  3. I had the same once..stay after class one day and be honest with her/him...ask if there is a problem.  If you don't get any answers, at least the teacher will know that you are aware of his or her feelings. If things get worse for you, talk to your parents or a counselor at school.  Good luck.

  4. Keep your head down and don't give him/her any reason to take points off or pick on you.  I've had teachers who disliked me, but there was nothing they could do since I was always on time and did my work correctly.  Don't talk back, make sure you're always prepared/on time and that you've done the work --they can't do anything to you if you don't give them any reason.  If they become truly unfair (marking correct assignments wrong, or constantly belittling you in class when you didn't say/do anything), you can speak to a school counselor who can probably help you sort things out in terms of who to complain to, etc.  Good luck!

  5. Don't sit at the back, sit in the middle on the side of the room. That way you are clearly not a "bad" kid by sitting up the back being disruptive, but you don't look like a nerd by sitting at the front. It's probably best if you tell your friends you are putting on the "good kid" show in her class so they'll shut up and not get you into trouble. Do all your homework and hand it in on time. Make thoughtful contributions in class, and do a bit of extra reading in your own time so you can. Anything that makes a teacher think a student actually cares about the topic will help enormously. Don't tell the teacher s/he is wrong, but phrase it "I read/heard X,Y,Z, was that wrong?" That way the teacher still gets to be the expert and feel in charge.

Ultimately, remember that annoying, horrible people are still capable of coming out with stuff worth listening to.
