How do you swim underwater without rising to the surface? And how come people can just sit at the bottom of the pool without rising to the surface or holding onto to anything?

  1. ok, this is soooooo easy, i always swim under water. ok 1st u go under the water, then u start to movie ur arms like ur digging up something in the dirt and u kick ur legs. hoped i help

  2. You have to be moving your arms and legs and doing a worm kind of motion, you have to let bubbles come out of your mouth to sit there.

  3. you have to focus

  4. don't breathe in the maximum amount of air your lungs can handle before going under, and as for laying on the floor of the pool; release air until you find yourself sinking when you do hold onto whatever air you have left, you have my have to hold your nose and blow out to pressurize your ear drums so it doesn't hurt too much from the pressure.

  5. swimming underwater - i found that if you do breast stroke (but try open your arms out wide if you get what i mean?) underwater is certainly the easiest way and seems to work for me.

sitting at the bottom of the pool - when you take a breath to go down beneath the surface your lungs are filling up with air, something filled with air will float in water. sounds silly to blow the air out of your lungs when you get to the bottom, but blow just enough out so you are sitting on the floor and so you have enough to get back to the surface

ive done both of the above and it works for me :)

    hope this helps

  6. your hands going the opposite way. wave them upwards while your under water.

  7. Well to be able to swim under water their is two things.

    1) The water may have salt inside the pool which raises your body to the surface to stop drowning

    2) And to swim underneath water just force your body underneath the water and swim downwards

    and finally..

    3) Olympic pools, sport facility pools and park pools usually have salt to stop a child from drowning, this makes it safer

  8. You need to let the  air out of your lung to do that. The downward motion of the strokes will keep you down whilst you swim.

  9. they let all of the air in their mouth out...thats how i do it!
