Okay so I'm a little pissy because my computer crashed. right, so I had to re-download itunes and all my music is gone, but I still have it on my shuffle. I plugged my shuffle in and if I sync it, it'll erase the memory. Is there any way to bypass this and put the music BACK on my computer?

  1. I'm not a fan of using iTunes because it is too complex and does not allow you the flexibility to do things the way you want. Before you do anything with your ipod and iTunes, I would suggest that you do a back up of the contents on it by copying the files directly onto a PC without using iTunes. That way you can avoid loosing your contents altogther if iTunes doesn't play nice.

If you wish to look at other easier ways of transferring music, video, photos and files then there are better software products around than iTunes in my opinion.

The free resource at http://free-ipod-manual.com has a whole lot of useful tips and information about the things you can do with your ipod.
