  1. tell them to **** off

  2. tell your family member that everyone is entitled to be their own expert.

  3. there is no "tactful" way to handle them. Just let it go in one ear and out the other. If it gets to be too much, make the show you proof of their "answer". It might not change the outcome but it will keep them out of your hair for a while.

  4. Ignore them?  Personally when someone does that to me, I loudly start a conversation with someone else and completely ignore the offender's opinions.  If no one wants to listen to them, they should stop

  5. Don't engage them in a conversation... that would be easiest. Learn to subvert your own ego to just stare at this git blankly and say "uhhh, yeah" then walk off.

If you happen to be carrying a laptop with wireless internet, you could call them down on their bull-corn and look it all up.

The person in question does not have much self-esteem.

  6. I delt with the same thing. Agree with them and they will shut-up trust me it works! I have an 10 year old that did live with me and she thought she knew EVERYTHING! I jknow what im talkin bout when i say this. I hope I helped. =^_^=   And if you can try and help with my qustion!

  7. ignoring is the best but I  know it is a hard thing to do.   Sometimes I have said man you done everything and been everywhere havent you.  SO since you have let us talk about this not you.  I have even went into another room and then they wonder what's up and I have someone tell hem well they feel everytime they talk you butt in and they are tired of it.  Sometimes when people do this they are just looking for attention and think they are better than most and so if you feel like it put them in their place.  IF not ignore ignore ignore!!!

  8. I have several like that in my family. I just ignore them and keep on talking as usual, that usually shuts them up, especially if everyone else follows suit. As long as they aren't starting arguments or anything, I wouldn't say anything to them. Eventually they will see how stupid they are acting.
