  1. the Print Screen button on your keyboard, then open paint and paste (ctrl+v)

  2. Press the "print Screen" Button on the top of your keyboard.

    It will copy a picture of you desktop. Then open paint or some other picture editing program and paste on a new file.

  3. Ctrl-Prnt Scrn takes a clipboard image of your entire desktop.

    Alt-Prnt Scrn takes a clipboard image of JUST the active window.

  4. i use screenshot captor, its free google it...

    edit

    i didnt know about the SysRq key, UGH i can save a little space on my hdd now.

  5. right click your mouse go to properties and than screen saver or desktop scroll down and you can find it from there.

  6. Go to your desktop and press the key 'Print Screen|SysRq' button. It's up on the top right hand side of your keyboard, right above your number pad.

    Open up paint or whatever you have, hit paste and then save as .gif file. And whala - you've taken a screenshot of your desktop and can now post it on whatever site you need to. And, of course, if you need a host site, photobucket.com is always a good one. (;

  7. With the "prt srn" button on your keyboard.

  8. Its easy, when you havr choosen the desktop picture that you want, simply press the print screen key near the scroll lock keys, and paste it on paint. simple as that..
