  1. if its going to the right side left arm on top and right on bottom and vice versa...you should make a box with your arms

  2. It doesn't really matter, just take that ball, tuck it under your arm, and run over some people for a first down.

  3. when the qb hands off wit his right hand u put up your right arm

  4. if your on the right side u put your right arm across the top of your chest and the left arm across your stomach the qb will out the ball in that hole then you will tuck the ball  if your are on the left you do it the otherr way it is veryimportantt because if you get hit as soon as you get the ball you will fumble.

    ps. i played RB.

  5. there are two types of hand offs:

    1. QB and the RB (HB, FB, etc..)) are close and the ball goes horizontally into the RB chest (below the pecks, above the stomach)

Depending on which side of the field your own should determine which hand is on the top, and bottom.  If your on the near side, the top hand should be your left, and the bottom your right. Because you want the ball to be carried closest to the out of bounds line, therefore, your on the bottom (right hand) will bring the ball down into the running position on your right.

However if it is straight up the gut or off tackle, the ball must be received in the same place but the hands stay in position until after you break through the line.  (This play it doesn't matter which hand is on top or bottom) because the idea is going thru the gut and ball securtity is the number the priority

After breaking through the line depending if you're cutting to the left or right will depend on which side the ball gets carried and craddled in .

  6. taking the handoff isn't important... how to hand it off is what can cause your Runningback not to grab it and cause a turnover.. i saw that happened to erik ainge and arian foster

  7. Doesn't matter.  You're not supposed to do it differently any time, it will indicate to the Linebackers where the play is going.

  8. The one that is closest to the qb goes on top so the ball doesn't hit your elbow and cause a fumble.
