How do you take a picture of the srceen on a mac?

where it captures whats on the screen and saves it as a picture?

i have a mac os x version 10.4.11

  1. The print screen key should save the picture in your paint folder.  I haven't used mac progrms for quite a while but you should be able to find the file without too much trouble.


  2. OS X comes with a utility called Grab. It can take screenshots, time screenshots, screenshots of specific windows or screenshots of specific areas.

    You can find the application Grab in your Applications/Utility folder.

  3. well i use a software called snagit but i have windows just search screen capture programs for mac. good luck
