How do you take a shot

i struggle with it so much. i can never get all of it down in one =( so embarrassing. any tricks?

I used to have the same problem, when I take a shot what I do is have the poison (liquor) in the back part of my throat and I use a chaser- a beer or even another drink will work whatever your preference is.  Another way is the way you seen on coyote ugly you can spit some of it in your beer bottle or can.  You still look tough in front of your friends and not have the embarrassment.  Good luck to you

First thing about taking a shot... never smell it. that could add to your inability to swallow it.  

What I do is... after its poured.. I simply splash it in my mouth while my head is tilted back.. and swallow.  Do this all in quick succession.  You'll lose less courage this way.  The quicker the better.   Don't think about it, just do it, quickly.

Over the lips and through the gums, look out stomach here it comes.

first of all... NEVER SMELL THE ALCOHOL before downing it!!

just take it down and then have a chaser which is another liquid that you enjoy tasting right after the alcohol. GOOD luck!
