How do you take a suit on a plane?

My boyfriend and I are flying to a wedding this weekend, and he realized he has no idea how to best transport his suit to keep it in good shape. We're just flying in coach. What should he do?

There are special bags rightly named suit bags that are like the hang up kind, zippered and will fold in the middle.  They hardly ever wrinkle the clothing.  Maybe he can borrow one if he doesn't have one in the closet.
