  1. There is a button on your keyboard that says "print screen." Click that at the point which you want the picture.

    Open paint.

    Paste.

Cut off what you don't want and there you go!

  2. That's called taking a screenshot. It all depends on what media player you're using. If you're using windows media player, then press "ctrl I" when paused at the moment you want to take a screen and it'll save the screen as a picture. If using VLC, go to Video>Snapshot to take a shot. Anything else, find other ways. It's bound to be in the help section of the media player. Search "taking screenshot".

Print screen won't work if you have Overlay selected for playing videos.

  3. there are many tools can help you to get a pic from video. as i know, moyea dvd4web converter is the one which can enables you to get pictures from DVD. with it, you can get pictures by just clicking the little camera on its interface.

  4. In a video editor or quicktime pause the video on the desired place and press anything you see that reads something like capture still frame or save as image.  If you are not using a video editor or don't have software capable of doing this you can use print screen key on your keyboard and paste it regularly into your image editor or document.
